An impressive book

ENGLISH: No other book has impacted me as much as Robert Frank's The Americans. Some view street photography as a continuum that goes from Henri Cartier-Bresson to Robert Frank. I am not sure I subscribe to that view. Perhaps I do. But I don't think you have to photograph in one style or the other. You must develop your own style and on occasion you can lean toward one extreme or the other. I feel I swing between these two extremes, in my own way and in my own style, of course. I don't see a problem with that. I have both Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Frank as references. Yet another photographer who has had a profound influence on me is Josef Koudelka, but I will write about him in a separate post. Robert Frank's The Americans is the book that influenced me the most. I revisit it several times a year. It is an endless source of inspiration for me.
